SaintPetersBlog wins Best of the Bay award for political blogging, “general all around sh* stirrer”

It’s with a great deal of gratitude to the editors of Creative Loafing – to whom I have always been grateful and respectful — that I acknowledge their Best of the Bay award for political blogging and, their words, “general all around shit stirring.”

In 2010, I won a Best of the Bay award for having the best local political blog. What’s different about winning this year is that I truly owe much of the credit to the contributors who make SaintPetersBlog the force that it is.

Deserving recognitition are Karen Cyphers, who has, inexplicably, become one of my most trused allies, as well as Phil Ammann, Linda Hersey, and Ben Kirby, in addition to the editors of Context Florida, Tom O’Hara and Rich Bard, and the technical team — which will go unnamed — who keep the trains running on time.

You know, I think this blogging thing might work out…
