Sen. Nan Rich's bill wants Pre-K teachers to have bachelor's degrees

Private pre-kindergarten teachers who receive state funds through the voluntary pre-kindergarten program would be required to hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in subjects such as early childhood education, or have a bachelor’s degree or higher and be certified to teach up to grade six, under a bill filed by Sen. Nan Rich, D-Weston, reports the News Service of Florida.
