On Tuesday, Senator Marco Rubio will visit Florida College Academy, a small private school in Hillsborough County. Rubio will tour classrooms, listen to the stories of parents whose children have benefited from school choice and discuss the Educational Opportunities Act he introduced earlier this year. The visit is intended to highlight the importance of giving parents the option to choose the schools that best fit the needs of their children, regardless of whether the school is public, private or a charter school.
Rubio will then visit U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at MacDill Air Force Base.
Tomorrow evening, Rubio is headlining the Pasco County Reagan Day Dinner, to be held at 6:30 pm at Spartan Manor. This year’s annual event has already sold out of VIP tickets, but you may still be able to join by contacting 727-863-5400.
If you miss seeing Rubio this week, try again at the May 18 Hillsborough County Lincoln Day Dinner, to be held at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.
