Former State Rep. Shawn Harrison pulled further ahead in fundraising for his effort to retake the House District 63 seat.
The Tampa Republican posted another $6,625 in donations between June 21 and July 4, for total contributions of $110,891.
Harrison faces Democrat incumbent Rep. Mark Danish for the seat representing north Hillsborough County. First elected to the House in 2010, Harrison served a single term, losing to Danish in 2012.
Danish continues to fall behind during the two-week reporting period, adding $4,035, for an overall total of $74,417. The incumbent only spent $917, leaving him with just over $55,600 cash on hand. Harrison’s war chest is now at $45,873.
