Shot-and-chaser about Rick Scott using an official appearance for his campaign ads

Apparently $100 million isn’t enough. Rick Scott is now staging official visits to shoot his campaign commercials. 

Shot – “Gov. Rick Scott Friday made another in a series of appearances in Tampa that are technically on official business but which have strong political overtones…” – via William March of the Tampa Tribune.

Chaser – “The video features Scott talking to a small group of unidentified people who say that the rate cuts will have a negative impact on them.” – via Matt Dixon of th EW Scripps and Tampa Tribune joint bureau. 

So was Scott’s trip official business? Or was this an officially outrageous waste of taxpayer dollars to fund his campaign.
