Since Bill Foster is endorsing Bob Kersteen, you should probably vote for his opponent Charlie Gerdes

Along with the geriatrics supporting 74-year-old Bob Kersteen’s bid for the St. Petersburg City Council, Mayor Bill Foster announced yesterday that he is endorsing his conservative ally in the District 1 race.

Well, if Bill Foster is lining up on one side, you should probably run to the other and vote for Kersteen’s opponent, Charlie Gerdes.

It’s not that Foster is all that bad, it’s that the city just doesn’t need a Foster ally on the City Council right now.  In fact, with Foster endorsing Kersteen, a big win for Gerdes is one way to send a message to Foster.

And Foster needs to be sent a message.  A message to get his head out of his a** and solve the Rays’ stadium issue before the situation gets any worse.
