UPDATE — THE SEMINOLE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS SHOWS CHRIS DORWORTH DOWN BY 37 VOTES.
Incoming Speaker of the Florida House Chris Dorworth may not be as incoming as was thought at the beginning of the day.
Currently, the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections shows Dorworth
with a 98 vote lead over Democratic challenger Mike Clelland with one precinct outstanding down by 37 votes with all precincts in.
However, according to Steve Barnes of Seminole County Democratic Party, that final precinct has come in and swung to Clelland by 100 votes.
Chris Dorworth finds himself down two votes with all precincts in.
But — and this is a big BUT — the Seminole SOE has not updated its page to reflect Barnes’ information.
A hand recount will be conducted Saturday.
