Representative Jim Frishe, candidate for the Florida State Senate, received the endorsement of Mayor Bill Foster today. Serving in a variety of capacities Foster has fought for the interests of St. Petersburg residents for a decade and is currently serving his first term as Mayor.

“I am pleased to endorse Representative Jim Frishe for State Senate. Representing much of Pinellas County inTallahassee for over a decade, Jim has an unmatched record of leadership at the state level. As Senator Latvala will no longer represent St. Petersburg due to redistricting, I believe it is imperative that we continue to elect strong and seasoned local leaders like Jim Frishe who can hit the ground running in Tallahassee to fight for the interests of St. Petersburg,” said Foster.

“It’s an honor to have the endorsement of Mayor Foster. Bill has worked hard to bring down crime and bring much needed jobs back to St. Petersburg. Taking over as Mayor during one of the most challenging economic periods of our lifetime I admire his hard work and leadership,” noted Frishe.
