St. Petersburg is looking for an interested business and/or property owner, resident or stakeholder to fill a single vacancy on the citizen advisory committee (CAC) for the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area (CRA).
The city will accept resumes until 5 p.m. July 1.
Officials hope to have an appointee confirmed by City Council in time for the Aug. 9 CAC meeting. The term will be for the remainder of a three-year term ending Jan. 31, 2019. The appointee will be eligible to serve another three-year term.

The CAC, created by an interlocal agreement between the St. Petersburg City Council and the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, is the city’s first redevelopment advisory committee and is comprised of nine members of whom six are appointed by the mayor and three appointed by the county commission.
The CAC advises the St. Petersburg CRA on the South St. Petersburg Redevelopment Plan as well as other issues and policies pertaining to the CRA.
