St. Petersburg hums this weekend with an all-star concert lineup, including a grand re-opening afterparty and Chillounge Night preview at the Mahaffey Theater; CraftArt and ArtScape2011 juried fine art and craft exhibition; Chillounge Night’s luxurious lounge under the stars; and more than 7 thousand runners and walkers pounding through Tropicana Field.

On Friday, November 18, the Mahaffey Theater (www.themahaffey.com) launches its new era with a concert from former Eagle Don Henley at 8 p.m. Following the show, everyone is invited to the Arts Plaza for a free Chillounge Night preview, complete with lawn furniture, libations and live music. On Saturday, more than 12,000 art lovers meet at the crossroads of Central Ave. and Fifth St. N. for CraftArt2011/ArtScape2011 to view some of the nation’s best and emerging artists specializing in fine, handmade crafts in the 14th annual exhibition.
