Gov. Rick Scott received the budget, implementing bill and 26 conforming bills from the Legislature on Tuesday, giving him until June 1 to sign or veto the measures and use his line-item veto authority on individual expenditures, reports the News Service of Florida. Scott has so far been vague on what he might veto from the budget, saying he will consider the impact of each item on private-sector job creation. Another 11 conforming bills have yet to make their way to Scott’s desk.
