Stephanie Smith stepping down from Gov’s Office

Not that Stephanie Smith.  The Stephanie Smith that works in the Governor’s Office for Charlie Crist.  According to Gary Fineout, Smith is stepping down to take a job with AT&T. Smith has been executive deputy chief of staff for Crist since November. She also served as Crist’s director of external affairs and deputy director for external affairs since coming to work for Crist back in 2007. Smith, 30, also worked as the Tampa Bay area regional director for Crist’s campaign back in 2006. Between 2003 and 2005 she worked in the Governor’s Office under former Gov. Jeb Bush. She will remain in Tallahassee and starts her new job with AT&T on June 2.
