Try sharpening that hatchet and using it on someone that deserves it.
Nicolas is one of the people most effected by this issue and he has responded the way anyone should. He has volunteered and devoted a lot of time to this in a fair and democratic fashion. And for that, you try to discredit him for that ONE mistake?
Give me a break.

With all due respect, I would like to point out a few inaccuracies of what you wrote above.
1. Nowhere did I write that "40,000 voters signed a petition to cancel the contract for architectural services with Michael Maltzan." My quote does not say that, it says "

Lets review the timeline:

1. Mayor wants the Lens, and Mayor wants reelection

2. Mayor seeks to appoint local blogger to meaningless local board

3. Local blogger gets ego boost

4. Local blogger uses blog to attack Lens and Mayors opponents

Solution: Change blog name to Times-Lite, censor the truth, and sell more cheap Chardonnay

Hello Mr. Schorsch,
I believe that I could have written that in a better fashion. What I meant was that once Stop the Lens finishes collecting their petitions, over 40,000 petitions have been signed when combining the two petitions on the pier issue as a whole. 24,000 for Vote on The Pier, and over 20,000 with Stop The Lens. I am not in the habit of lying, but I could have done a better job of getting that idea across. I'm not talking about how many were verified, but how many were signed. Thank you for the opportunity to clear this up. I wouldn't call it a lie, but a badly worded sentence.
