Senate Republican majority raises more than $1 million in first quarter
A political committee formed to help Republican state Senate candidates raised more than $1 million in the first three months of 2016. State records show the Florida Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee raised $1.05 million in the first quarter. The committee is led by Senate President Joe Negron and was set up by Senate leaders to raise money for state Senate races.
