On Wednesday, Gov. Rick Scott’s office released the names of 14 legal and state board appointments. Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsels Scott began by announcing reappointments in the Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsels for Florida’s First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Regions. Gov. Rick Scott fired up his appointment pen on Thursday, announcing 20 names to a variety of state regulatory boards. All of the following appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. Board of Pilot Commissioners Scott named Michael Jaccoma to the Board of Pilot Commissioners, which is responsible for licensing and regulating harbor pilots. Jaccoma, 57, of Davie, is a harbor pilot for the port of Miami. He succeeds John Fernandez for a term ending October 31, 2018.…
