Sometimes, the best coach is the one you’ve already got. Take Oklahoma. The Sooners wisely stuck with Bob Stoops, even when many in this what-have-you-done-for-me-lately world questioned whether he was the guy to lead them back to the promised land. The Nebraska Cornhuskers, like the Miami Hurricanes, have won 5 national titles. Both programs are not what they used to be. Miami is currently known nationally for the wrong reasons following last week’s 58-0 embarrassment against Clemson.
