Young turks lining up for plum City of St. Petersburg lobbying job

At least 95 individuals have applied for the City of St. Petersburg’s governmental relations manager position, according to application documents obtained from a public information request made last week. Many of the applicants are the ‘young turks’ who have staffed local campaigns and elected officials, such as Nick Hansen, who helped organize Mayor Bill Foster’s election effort, Brian Shuford, Rebekah Torres, an aide to former state House Rep.
