And yet, the Lightning lost a 2-1 game to the St. Louis Blues on Sunday night when the puck went into the net off the foot of Patrik Berglund with 2:29 to play. Suddenly, the high-scoring Tampa Bay Lightning cannot buy a goal. The Lightning was shut out for the second straight game Tuesday night, dropping a 2-0 game to the St. Louis Blues. Coupled with Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Chicago, it has been a long time since the Lightning lit a lamp. The Lightning was shut out only one time all of last year.
