Monday’s St. Petersburg Times reminds me why I relented and signed up for a subscription. Of course, the horrifying stories of the Church of Scientology urging women to have abortions is must-read.  But so is Tom Jones’ Shooting from the Lip coverage of a weekend of televised sports. What’s not must-read: Ernest Hooper’s Monday column continues to disappoint.  It’s not that Hooper writes anything provoking or ridiculous.  It’s that, with the real-estate granted to Hooper, his column should just explode…
