Pinellas schedules first meeting of sewer task force

As Hurricane Hermine churned its way northward in the Gulf of Mexico, it dumped as much as 22 inches of rain on portions of Pinellas. Will Michaels, a well-liked, well-respected activist in St. Petersburg, has decided not to run for the City Council seat being vacated by Jamie Bennett. “Kathy and I have given it a great deal of consideration and have decided this is not a good fit for me at this time. I will continue to participate in voluntary community activities such as CONA, the Bahama Shores Neighborhood Association, Saint Petersburg Preservation, the Woodson Museum, and the St. Petersburg Museum of History.”
