The Florida Democratic Party has announced on Wednesday the hiring of Sheyla Asencios as deputy political director in charge of Hispanic outreach. Asencios replaces the outgoing Jeff Branch, who served in a similar capacity until this month, primarily working on outreach to African-American communities.
