Lynn Cobb, trusted adviser to legislative leaders, killed in crash

Lynn Cobb, a veteran adviser to a succession of Florida House speakers, died Friday evening in a two-car crash in Woodville, south of Tallahassee. Cobb was pronounced dead at the scene after her SUV was hit head-on by another vehicle that had been “swerving in and out of traffic, passing other cars” on the two-lane highway, WCTV6 Tallahassee reported, citing a Florida Highway Patrol report.
