Kathleen Ford takes steps to run for Mayor
As of Monday, Kathleen Ford has resigned her membership in at least one local, but significant, political organization in preparation for an expected run for St. Petersburg Mayor. A source close to the Ford family stated that they expected Kathleen to announce her candidacy around the same time as Commissioner Ken Welch makes his decision, which he said would take place at the end of the month.
