The ad was re-posted with the language removed, said RPOF spokeswoman Katie Gordon Betta, but the party lost nearly 100 bids on the painting, one of them for $6,200. By late Wednesday, bidding…

Fox News goes on the attack against Charlie Crist

in Peter/Statewide by

No sooner did Republican Charlie Crist decide to run for the U.S. Senate as an independent, rather than a Republican, than Fox News was ready to attack him. As far as I know, nobody has called Crist a radical socialist… yet. Nor, to my knowledge, has Crist shown up on Glenn Beck’s blackboard next to Chairman Mao. But the anti-Crist bias was as bright as Florida sunshine in Sean Hannity’s ā€œreportā€ on Crist’s decision and Chris Wallace’s ā€œfair and balancedā€…

From the Orlando Sentinel: Pamela Dahl and her fellow tea-party members in this megaretirement community are determined to evaluate GOP candidates for U.S. Senate – Gov. Charlie Crist and former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio – in person. But it was Rubio, and not Crist, who became the focus of attention about tea-party support during a televised debate last week between the candidates. Rubio, who leads Crist by a wide margin in opinion polls, has been labeled in media outlets…
