Another year, another troubled FSU quarterback. Recruit De’Andre Johnson has been suspended indefinitely from the Seminoles team after reports that he punched a woman in a bar in Tallahassee on Wednesday night. According to ESPN, Johnson and the woman got into an argument after he said she cut in front of him and an argument ensued. He ended up punching her in the face. They are known for their elusiveness, but a report by ESPN’s Outside the Lines shows that the Univesity of Florida and FSU are among the schools where athletes are prosecuted among the least. Outside the Lines examined several schools – Florida, FSU, Auburn, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin. FSU football coach Jimbo Fisher, wife are divorcing

FSU football coach Jimbo Fisher and his wife Candi are divorcing. The Fishers have separated and are working with attorneys to mediate terms of their divorce, the Tallahassee Democrat has confirmed. Fisher, 49, led the Seminoles to a national title in 2013. He and Candi have two sons, Trey and Ethan. In 2011, Ethan was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia, a rare life-threatening blood disorder. The Fishers created the Kidz 1st Fund.

Seminole Boosters won’t pick up option on Bobby Bowden’s contract

Florida State athletic director Stan Wilcox says the school will investigate Jameis Winston‘s comments that the ex-Seminoles quarterback believed he had an understanding with an unidentified grocery store employee that led to last year’s much-publicized crab legs shoplifting incident.
