St. Pete receives grant to help update climate action plan

St. Petersburg has received a $20,000 grant from the Urban Land Institute to help refine the city’s climate action plan to help handle coastal vulnerabilities and the threat of sea level rise. Motorola foundation funds FAU women in science program

Florida Atlantic University is one of several institutions to get money recently from Motorola’s charitable arm. Motorola Solutions Foundation gave a $10,000 grant to the Boca Raton school for its Women in Engineering/Computer Science program, according to a press release.
