The USF Bulls, for years a non-essential basketball team, will try a new direction in former Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory. Gregory, 50, had a 20-win season for the Yellow Jackets and five 20-win seasons for Dayton. Before that, he was an assistant on a Michigan State team that reached three Final Fours and won a  national title.
