“Who is Sandra Gadsden?” was the invariable response I received last evening from each person I asked if they knew who Sandra Gadsden is. I was at a fundraising reception chock full of political operatives and their handsome wives.  Each of these people recognized the names of  Adam Smith or Aaron Sharockman or David DeCamp.  Some even recognized John Frank’s name.  But not one person — and this is a room full of people who make St. Petersburg move –…

St. Pete Times pulls questionable online story about Goliath Davis

Editors of the St. Petersburg Times; Bay Buzz pulled an online story about St. Petersburg Deputy Mayor Goliath Davis which, according to a source who works in the police department but remains close to Davis, included a headline the former police chief found objectionable. “Goliath Davis questions some of Mayor Bill Foster’s plans” read the January 6 story written by Cristina Silva (cached here), who reported that Davis has some concerns about Mayor Bill Foster’s proposed policies regarding a plan…
