St. Pete Yacht Club ready to resume historic Havana Regatta
An historic race resumes Tuesday after a 58-year hiatus. Once again, boats are daydreaming about Havana. For most of the existence of the 107-year-old St. Petersburg Yacht Club, the Regatta was an annual event. It was suspended after the 1959 competition, however, due to the political strife in Cuba.
