Rick Scott: Florida’s private-sector job growth tops large states

Gov. Rick Scott said Monday that Florida’s private-sector growth rate of 3.6 percent in November was the highest among the country’s 10 most-populous states. November marked the ninth consecutive month Florida was tops among large states. Proctor currently is Panuccio’s Chief of Staff. Gov. Gov. Rick Scott touted new data released by an online job listing tracker Thursday that shows Florida had about 300,000 job openings in November. According to Help Wanted OnLine’s data, the state had 299,530 job openings listed online last month, an increase of 19,272 listings over October numbers.
