Not long ago, South Carolina senator Jim DeMint was one of the few supporters of Marco Rubio who could be found outside of the latter’s kitchen table. So, as Rubio’s political prospects improved, so too have DeMint’s. Last week, the Senator and the Senate hopeful announced they would be campaigning together. They’ve even formed a joint fundraising committee called “Friends of DeMint-Rubio.” And now they’ve launched a website and video to advance their intertwined fortunes.
