Rick Scott names two to Southwest Florida Water Management District
On Friday, Gov. Rick Scott named two to the Governing Board of the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Joel Schleicher, 65, of Sarasota, is the founder and executive chair of Focal Point Data Risk, a risk-management firm based in Tampa. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Schleicher fills a vacant seat for a term ending March 1, 2019.
