Bonnie Hechtkopf has searched for a way to honor her husband, Jared, ever since he died 15 years ago. She thinks she’s found it. Hechtkopf donated enough money to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to buy a warehouse, rehab and renovate it to be used as a food bank that will provide food to more than 60,000 hungry people each month. Rick Scott celebrates jobs and tax cuts in St. Pete

Florida Governor Rick Scott is touring the state celebrating job creation and tax cuts. During a stop in St. Pete Monday on his “Million, Billion Jobs Victory Tour” Scott announced 44,300 new private sector jobs in the Tampa Bay area over the course of a year.
