All of Florida’s big three now sit within the Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Sunday. Florida State moved up to the No. 2 spot behind top-ranked Alabama, while Florida comes in at No. 23 and Miami at 25. Clemson’s second consecutive unimpressive performance against an unranked team caused them to drop three positions to the fifth slot. Probably not many football fans have heard of Lamar Jackson outside of Louisville, Ky., with the exception of Boynton Beach, Fla. After his performance in the Music City Bowl on Wednesday, he will certainly be remembered in the history books. Jackson helped the Louisville Cardinals beat the Texas A&M Aggies 27-21 with his right arm and both of his feet. Rick Pitino has shown himself to be one of college basketball’s finest coaches. With two national titles and seven Final Four appearances, Pitino is in the upper echelon of his profession.
