A coalition of groups monitoring voting across the country says it’s getting more calls from voters in Florida than any other state. Members of the Election Protection Coalition said Thursday they’ve received more than 1,700 calls to their election hotline since Florida kicked off early voting late last month. More than 300,000 Pinellas voters have requested mail ballots

For the second time, requests for mail-in ballots have exceeded the 300,000 mark in Pinellas County, according to Deborah Clark, supervisor of elections. The 300,593 ballots requested as of 9 p.m. Friday does not set a record. The record of 308,842 was sent in 2012 during the last presidential election. One day left to register to vote for general election

With one day still left to register for the Nov. 8 election, mail ballots have started returning to the Pinellas Supervisor of Elections Office. As of Monday morning, 6,187 mail ballots had been returned. Of those, 2,522 were from Democratic voters and 2,418 were from Republicans. The remaining 1,247 were from voters with no party affiliation or who are registered to a third party. Deborah Clark sends out record 262K mail ballots to Pinellas voters

The Pinellas Supervisor of Elections Office sent out 262,142 mail ballots Tuesday to voters for the Nov. 8 General Election. That’s a new record for Deborah Clark’s office as the largest-ever bulk mailing of mail ballots. Thus far, Clark has sent a total of 266,176 ballots for the General Election. Pinellas elections office sends presidential primary ballots to overseas voters

More than 1,500 military and overseas voters will receive their absentee ballots soon. The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office mailed 1,579 ballots Friday for the Presidential Preference Primary. Those receiving absentee ballots include active-duty military, their spouses and dependents absent from their place of residence. It also includes civilians who are U.S. citizens, but currently residing abroad. Another about 203,000 domestic voters will have ballots mailed out near Feb. 9.
