Hillsborough County incumbent State Attorney Mark Ober continues to lead in fundraising over his Democratic challenger, Andrew Warren, but Warren raised approximately $4,000 more in May, a figure that his camp highlighted in a press release distributed on Thursday. Although Warren’s official numbers haven’t been posted yet with the Florida Division of Elections website, his camp is touting that the $25,000 he brought in last month exceeds the $20,848 that the Ober reports on the Division’s site. Since entering the race formally in January, Hillsborough County Democratic State Attorney hopeful Andrew Warren had raised more money in the first quarter of the year than 16-year GOP incumbent Mark Ober. That reign ended in April, however, as Ober raised $26,425 to Warren’s $14,477. Overall, Ober has brought in more than $205,000; Warren has raised more than $141,000.
