City of St. Petersburg’s lobbyist resigns – updated

The effervescent Laura Boehmer has resigned from her position as the City of St. Petersburg’s full-time lobbyist, less than five weeks after Mayor Bill Foster took office. According to my sources, Ms. Boehmer has agreed to take a position with uber lobbying firm Southern Strategies. “Laura has represented St. Petersburg very well in Tallahassee over the past several years, and we wish her well as she continues her career in legislative affairs with a private firm,” said Senior Administrator Dave…
