Democrats wear bracelets as new form of protest against Arizona immigration law

Opinion Matters reports that top Democrats were spotted wearing Arizona Anti-Immigration Law bracelets during Mexican President Calderon’s speech where he vehemently criticized Arizona’s new law. As part of his general boycott of Arizona — which includes his refusal to fly through Phoenix on his weekly trips to and from Washington — Baca, D-Rialto, is distributing wristbands inspired by the Lance Armstrong LiveSTRONG craze. 2009 Netroots Awards: The Good, the Bad and the Undeserved

The 2009 Florida Netroots Awards winners were announced this afternoon in Orlando at the Florida Democratic Party convention. Finalists previously had been revealed on the Florida Progressive Coalition blog.
