Temple’s 34-10 victory over No. 19 Navy in the American Athletic Conference Championship Game on Saturday settled a few things. The most obvious was the Owls’ status as the top team in the league. The Temple Owls fell behind by 18 points, but came back to stun the Central Florida Knights, 26-25 Saturday night at Bright House Networks Stadium. An improbable Temple victory does not seem to describe what happened. UCF ran out to a 25-7 lead in the second quarter and took a 25-14 lead into the halftime locker room.
