FSU poised to add even more stars to impressive recruiting class

One day before national signing day, and the FSU Seminoles remain solidly in fifth place in the 247sports.com’s rankings. The Seminoles have 21 recruits, with five slots left open. FSU is hoping to add another receiver, a defensive end, a defensive tackle, a linebacker and a safety. The Seminoles already have seven recruits enrolled, including much discussed running back Cam Akers. In all, it looks like another solid class for coach Jimbo Fisher. Once again, FSU ranks the near top in high school recruiting

At this point, the names are not written in ink. Still, it’s easy to see why Jimbo Fisher chose to remain at Florida State. Once again, FSU is near the top of the rankings for high school recruits. According to the recruiting website 247sports.com, FSU is second in America (to Alabama) when it comes to this season’s recruits. The Seminoles have one five-star recruing and 17 four-stars. Other recruiting classes included Florida, who is 13th, and Miami, who is 21st.…

An impressive recruiting season went over the top for the FSU Seminoles Wednesday. The Seminoles flirted with the No. 1 ranking, and finished second, in the 247sports.com recruiting website after a day in which tackle Landon Dickerson and linebacker Dontavious Jackson announced live for the Seminoles on ESPN. Add those two to tackle Jauan Williams, tackle Mike Arnold and center Baveon Johnson and the Seminoles had a great day on the offensive line. It was the nation’s top offensive line haul.…
