Keith Sabiel is self-funding mayoral challenge in Pinellas Park

Sandra Bradbury is outraising her challenger for re-election as Mayor of Pinellas Park … sort of. Bradbury has raised more than $7,600 as of February 12. Her opponent, Keith Sabiel, has brought in more than $10,000. But he didn’t raise it. Sabiel is self-funding his mayoral bid. Campaign finance reports show that during the month of January, Sabiel loaned himself $4,500. Then between February 1st and February 12th Sabiel loaned his campaign another $5,500. Meanwhile, Bradbury brought in nearly $4,000 in January.…

Pinellas Park mayoral candidates off to slow fundraising start

Not much is going on in terms of fundraising in Pinellas Park’s mayoral election. Current Mayor Sandra Bradbury and her opponent, Keith Sabiel, both have raised less than $500 for the March election. Bradbury filed a waiver of report for the most recent campaign finance deadline spanning December, which means there was no campaign activity. Two Pinellas Park City Council members won re-election last week unopposed. Seat 3 incumbent Rick Butler and Seat 4 incumbent Jerry Mullins celebrated victory as the qualifying deadline came and went last Tuesday with no challengers filing to run against the incumbents.
