A local church is battling a health club over prime space on a commercial sign. In November 2015, Grace Family Church of North Tampa purchased two sections of the Gandy Commercial Plaza — listed as Parcels A and B — at the former Sweetbay Supermarket. The Lutz-based ministry paid $6 million for a building it planned to convert to its south Tampa campus. IGT wins Florida Lottery contract

International Game Technology (IGT) on Thursday announced it had won a deal with the Florida Lottery to provide new hardware. IGT will provide the Florida Lottery with retailer terminals, in-store signage, self-service lottery vending machines, self-service ticket checkers and an upgraded communications network.
