The college football season is clearly just around the corner with the release of AP’s pre-season top 25 poll. To the surprise of no one, Alabama leads the pack, followed by Clemson, Oklahoma, Florida State, and LSU. Florida came in at No. 25 while Miami just missed at the 26th spot. For USF Coach Willie Taggart and Western Kentucky quarterback Brandon Doughty, Monday’s Miami Beach Bowl ended one phase of their career and began another. USF defeats Albany for first victory of the season

On their fifth try, the South Florida Bulls earned their first victory of the season with a 63-61 victory over the Albany Great Danes before 2,712 at the Sun Dome. It certainly was not easy.
