U.S. Rep. David Jolly toured the John’s Pass waterfront this week to highlight the impact of illegal fishing in the Gulf of Mexico on the region’s fishing industry. From CBS News: A piece of wreckage that appears to be from deep-sea rig that exploded in April in the Gulf of Mexico has washed up on a beach in Florida about 190 miles from the site of the disaster, officials said Saturday.
