Charlie Crist signs bill authorizing red-light cameras
Charlie Crist signed (HB 325), which authorizes cities to use cameras to crack down on drivers who run red lights. The measure, which takes effect July 1, also imposes standards to allow for uniform enforcement and use of the controversial cameras now in use in dozens of communities around the state.
