Deborah Clark sends out record 262K mail ballots to Pinellas voters

The Pinellas Supervisor of Elections Office sent out 262,142 mail ballots Tuesday to voters for the Nov. 8 General Election. That’s a new record for Deborah Clark’s office as the largest-ever bulk mailing of mail ballots. Thus far, Clark has sent a total of 266,176 ballots for the General Election. That includes Tuesday’s mailing and a mailing last month of 3,448 ballots to military and overseas voters. That total accounts for about 42 percent of Pinellas’ 637,021 registered voters. Of…

It’s only been two weeks since Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark started sending mail-in ballots to thousands of Pinellas voters for the Aug. 30 election. The election is called a primary election with certain races limited to members of a specific political party.
