WellCare selected to continue participating in the Florida Healthy Kids program
WellCare Health Plans, Inc. announced today that its Staywell Health Plan has been selected by the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation (FHKC) to continue to provide managed-care services for children 5-18 years of age, as part of the Florida Healthy Kids (FHK) program. Pending execution, the two-year contract will begin on Oct. 1, 2015, and may be extended for two additional years at FHKC’s discretion.
