Tallahassee Democrat: Run, Charlie, run

in Statewide by

Stop the presses!  Who would’ve thought the state capital’s newspaper would endorse the idea of a 3-way Senate campaign???  An excerpt from today’s Tallahassee Democrat’s editorial page:

Mr. Crist stands apart from his opponents and is more like average citizens who look at issues and problems pragmatically, and try to find solutions in the same manner. This state and the U.S. Senate cry out for leadership that cares enough to hear the people’s voices.

Now Mr. Crist must listen to the people one more time. In the aftermath of his veto of SB 6, scores of people through social media, e-mail and letters to newspapers have been urging him to stay in the Senate race and to run as an independent.

Listen to the people, Governor.
