Last Saturday across the state, Florida Democrats voted for a portion of the delegates who will represent the state at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this July.
Here the delegates that will be representing the Tampa Bay area.
Bernie Sanders delegates:
From Congressional District 12: Larry Floriani, Vice Chair of the Pinellas County Democratic Party and Ellen Floriani, former vice president of the Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County.
From Congressional District 13: Mary Lou Ambrose, President of the Largo/Mid-Pinellas Democratic Club, and Mike Fox, a national organizer with Progressive Democrats for America.
From Congressional District 14: Sharon Janis, Treasurer with the Stonewall Democrats, and Jan Lund.
From Congressional District 15: Jessica Vaughn and Ahmed Bedier, the co-host of the WMNF radio show True Talk.
From Congressional District 16: Sarasota residents Katherine Sogolow and David Beaton.
From Congressional District 17: Hillsborough resident Walter Seely.
Hillary Clinton delegates:
CD 12: Former state legislator Carl Zimmerman, Pasco County’s Judy Noel and Elaine Togneri, President of the National Organization for Women’s Pasco County chapter.
CD 13: Former Pinellas County Democratic Executive Committee Chair Ramsey McLauchlan, along with William Walker, Cora Kostka and Toni Walker.
CD 14: Tampa state Senator Arthenia Joyner, Pinellas County DEC Chair Susan McGrath, political campaign strategist Bryan Farris and former UT political science professor Rich Piper.
CD 15: Hillsborough County DEC Chair Ione Townsend, Lionel Washington with the Hillsborough County Young Democrats and Jack Wolff with the Hillsborough County DEC.
CD 16: Christine Jennings, Sarasota County DEC Chair, and Manatee County residents Lucy Lapides, Michael Fischer and Larry Jennis.
