The Tampa Bay Times added more than 13,000 home delivery subscribers daily and more than 11,500 Sunday subscribers in the past six months ending in September, compared to the same time period last year.
“Clearly, the market is responding very positively to our product and new name – Tampa Bay Times,” said Times VP and Tampa Publisher Joe DeLuca. “We continue to add hundreds of new subscribers every week who are benefiting from our high quality of content, and our advertisers are seeing great results as well,” DeLuca added.
With a total Sunday circulation of 379,375, the Times remains the only Florida newspaper ranked among the country’s top 25 newspapers. The Times is the 12th largest Sunday circulation in the country among a comparison of print editions only.
Perhaps most impressively, of the country’s top 25 newspapers, the Times‘ posted the third largest increase (30.4%) in circulation, behind only the Newark Star-Ledger and the New York Times.
